Better than Velcro at holding guitar pedals to pedal board.Does not wear out like Velcro. Pedals stay put, don't move.Easy to install. They stick well.

I mainly use this for stuff inside my car, like: Reattaching my EZ pass to the windshield, attaching my radar detector to the dash, attaching my garage door opener to the ceiling console, etc. Works like a charm. Strong. And I've never had the adhesive fail, even on hot summer days.

I like how easy it is to cut strips of the Velcro and how well the adhesive sticks to whatever I use it for. I have it sticking to wood and painted drywall and it is holding up well. Great stuff.

The description did not state that this was essentially two halves of the same material; it does work fine, but I was really looking for the old style "velcro" which was two different halves that mated together. (Which would have worked out better for my application.

Pros: I like the positive lock when you feel the two sides attaching by pressure. You squeeze or press the sides to lock. The hold is very strong, especially over other products I have tried. I hung a 1 lb wrecker bar on my pegboard with only 1 inch of the material. I was surprised at how well it worked. I am going to use it to hang the portable screen door for my shop. Then I will be able to easily remove and store it. The facing strips left will not collect lint or dirt like other adhesive locking materials.cons: I need 18 feet for this job so the cost will be high, but I hope worth it for the final result.

I recently purchased a set of 12 vinyl display shelves that would have required two screws each. Before going that route, I thought I would try a less damaging approach, so searched for an alternate. After reading several reviews of 3M products that were alleged to be counterfeit or poor quality control, I was hesitant to purchase this tape but the reviews seemed pretty positive. I am very glad I did. They hold the display shelves with no problem, and adhere well. Perhaps too well, as, based on me half-trying to pull one off the wall, this sticks with some vigor. I imagine the paint will peel right off when I decide to remove the shelves, which I only plan on doing to repaint the living room. But I would rather deal with that than 24 screw holes in the plaster. If you are looking to hang something lightweight, this is absolutely what you want.
