Your cart is empty.3M Rocker Panel Coating 08889 is a resilient coating designed to protect vehicle surfaces in vulnerable areas such as rocker panels, lower auto body panels, and parts exposed to gravel and stones. This paintable, spray-on coating is formulated to match medium to coarse OEM textures while providing an extra, abrasion-resistant layer over primer and under the paint. Its light-gray color ensures it is compatible with a wide variety of automotive paints. The coating is resistant to chipping and reduces the chances of rust and exterior corrosion to bare metal when exposed to weathering. On a typical application, coating thickness is equal to 2 to 3 mils and a two-coat dry time at 73 °F (23 °C) is roughly 60 minutes. Same stuff I use at work as a professional painter. This is my favorite gravel guard it has a good spray pattern to lay it out almost as good as the factory does.

Wasn't Grey color as advertised and definitely not paintable. Bubbled up under my topcoat color. Followed all instructions to the tee. Extremely disappointed, especially not that I have to sand and repaint the bottom part of my entire car trying to match the custom paint. Glad I record all of the paint mixture formulas I make.
