You need this thing to use the 3M 1" Roloc bristle discs in your standard-sized air die grinder.It's a little pricey for a one-trick pony, but you need it. So you'll be buying it.Works fine. The 3M disc screws on. I'm not sure what all of the other stuff is for... other die grinder assemblies, I suppose.

Product works great with a die grinder. I used it with the yellow roloc bristle disc to remove stuck on paper gasket from a Honda transmission.
