Our chimney sweep showed me the inspection mirrors he uses to check for buildup, and I was quite taken with them. I’ve been wanting a similar set for myself, so I was eager to see how these would perform. This set includes three sizes that can handle a range of different tasks, and the telescoping handles allow fairly good access to most areas. The large rectangular mirror (9 cm x 5 cm) is the most versatile, and should be good for chimneys, cars, etc. The medium round mirror (5 cm diameter) is good for looking under/behind desks or tables, and the smallest mirror (3 cm) can be used for more detailed work.Manufacturing quality is acceptable for the price, but far from top notch. The mirrors are just hot glued on, and one popped right off while I was testing them. They’re not anti-fog treated, and the range of motion can be a bit limited. The larger two can only adjust side to side, and the small round mirror can only adjust up or down. It also lacks the grip handle that the other two have. These are decent mirrors overall, but I think it would be a good idea to shop around before ordering. My rating: 3.5 stars

This set of 3 telescoping auto inspection mirrors work overall. They help get into those tight areas where it's hard to see components without removing a bunch of parts first. That said, they are lacking a little in quality. They feel a little flimsy, and the telescoping handles are extremely tight. I managed to pull off the rubber grip while trying to extend the handle. The grips themselves are unevenly cut. Assuming I got them to their full extension, the handles on the 2 larger mirrors are only about 16" long which might be ok since seeing anything meaningful in a small mirror at a longer distance might be a futile effort. The smallest mirror, which has a pocket clip, extends a bit further. This is the kind of tool you'll be glad to have for the odd time you need it, and as such, maybe durability isn't the most important element. They do rotate well and reflect clearly.
