My toddler discovered he can open doors and cabinets if he tries hard enough. Since we don’t keep him contained, he is with me when I’m cooking. This safety lock keeps him from opening the oven door when I’m using it. It gives me piece of mind. It works really well. Even I accidentally tried to open the door before without unlocking it first and the lock did not budge. Worth it

I had originally got these to put on my whirlpool oven door. However, I did not realize that I have about a 2 mm metal lip around my door that prevents me from using these there. These do fit on my french door refrigerator. They were easy to install. Took like 30 seconds. They hold well with force and are simple enough to disengage to get into the fridge.
