I've been struggling through life with a set of low quality ER32 collets lately. My collet chuck is good, but in order to get a tool running true I've had to move the collets around and play with different torque values on the nut. Quite the pain. I ordered these "High Precision" collets hoping they would cure my bad-collet blues. They come in a little cardboard box, each collet with its own plastic case. They appear to be good quality with no burrs or obvious defects. I needed to cut a dovetail in some mild steel, so I put my dovetail cutter in the 1/2" collet and torqued it down nice and tight. I was pleasantly surprised to find the cutter's shank to be running within 0.0005" on my first attempt! And I know the collet chuck itself is not perfect, so this level of precision is very welcome in my shop. I might be able to get even better if I play around with it, but that's not what I want to do. I want to install a tool and begin cutting stuff. So far I'm very pleased with these collets, especially considering how reasonably priced they are. I do wish they offered more sizes, but this set of 3 will cover the most common tool sizes I use.

These three collets are running within about .0004 TIR in my collet adapter and some of that is in my collet holder so they meet the advertised spec. You would have to spend a lot more money to get much more accuracy than that. For most work done in home shops they are more than accurate enough. Fit and finish are good and the come in nice see through container. They are shipped with an antirust oil on them and vacuum sealed in plastic so no deterioration during shipping. A good buy.

I got these for my CNC router. It has an official 10HP HSD spindle on it, and I'm using official HSD ISO30 taper tool holders. I thought I would try these collets out. The first thing I did was put an indicator on one and it had a Total Included Runout of well less than 0.001... I can't tell you how many tenths it is, because I only have a thousandths indicator because I'm doing mostly woodworking on a CNC router, so I don't need more precision than that. The collets fit my ISO 30 ER 32 holders perfectly and the bores were all suitable size to hold the size indicated. They are quality collets with no burrs on them and they are working very well for me.

This set of collets are very well built and have a very nice finish. I use them for milling flats on round stock and drilling holes at set angles using a square and hex collet chuck. They fit into the collet nut properly and are easy to insert and remove. The hole sizes are spot on for my application.

The first 1/4" ER11 collet I used was shorter in length and had to pry the bits out after use. These are longer (which seems like a better thing) and I don't have to pry bits out after an operation. I haven't checked runout.

These are stated as e11 collets, however they do not fit my router spindle. The threads do not engage on the spindle post. they dont appear to be too different in size but enough to not work in my router.
