These were shipped in a padded envelope, and the box they were shipped in survived without any issues or nail escapes. The nails have a sharp point, and are the length I needed to make some repairs to some wood furniture. It was just a simple, industrial looking side table, and the top started to detach from the base. Being dark wood, the black color nails looked better than the stainless or zinc steel look. I have so many left over for other purposes, and I'm pleased with them. I'd have a difficult time finding these locally, not to mention finding them at a similar price is not likely. I'm happy with them and would get them again.

I'm not sure how you'd use these for hanging pictures, or why you'd want such nicely coated nails just to hide them behind a painting, but i'm certain that they will be more than strong enough to hold it, lol. For my purpose, i'm using them to hold up decorations where i want the nail to be seen, a farmhouse style of decoration, The coating was really strong, as were the nails, exactly what i was wanting them to be.

I got the 6-inch nails. These are good-looking nails with a nice smooth black anti-corrosion finish. They have nice sharp points with a longish taper on them. I'm a little concerned that the gauge is not quite thick enough for a nail this long, although it will help prevent splitting of the wood. I just have to make sure I hammer straight.I plan to use these for hanging various tools in my garage and shop.

For some reason I thought these nails where much larger than what I got, that my fault, however, these nails will work great for hanging smaller items, about 1/2 in long, nice little ridges towards the head of the nail. These will work great.

The color is what caught my eye when i seen the 2 inche nails! I hang tons of stuff, changing out my decor sometimes and I go through lots of nails. The black is not only stylish but beings they are carbon steel these nails are going to work great holding all my wall decor in place.

Given how many come in this pack, I don't think I'll ever need to buy 1-inch nails ever again! These are nice, black-coated nails that have a neat feel to them and look really nice. They arrive in a plastic case, but I dumped them into a drawer in a hardware storage shelf (and they filled up the entire drawer!).

Absolutely no rubbing at illustrated. These are very smooth surface nails. The length is as expected however. Otherwise it'd have been one star. It's goi g to suck having to pull and reposition these in outdoor projects sadly.
