Love this for my birds. Allows them to have multiple access to food and water. Easy for them not to fight over the same feeder.

These dishes are exactly like the dishes that came with my current bird cages but they are slightly smaller. They still fit into the cages fine. I don't use the covers and the fact that they are opaque may give your birds some claustrophobia. If your birds are not tame, they are pretty vigilant while eating and the covers obstruct their view. You can absolutely use these without the covers. I put both in the top rack of my dishwasher with no problems.

Pieces didn’t fit together. Tried warming them up and ended up melting them. Had to throw them away
