Inexpensive but it should be as there isn't much technology involved here. It added more USB connections to my main setup as most connection devices are USB now.

Can not fully insert as it wobbles between PCIe slot and case mount due to it being improperly sized/made so not sure how QC applies when it doesn't fit to begin with, shame as the USB ports are rotated perfect for most PC cases and system was able to recognize it just fine when testing it with a new motherboard setup outside of a PC case and did not notice until after return period. I tested other PCIe x1 cards I had on hand and they fit just fine, just not this one.

I bought this card for my 2010 PowerMac "Cheese Grater". I plugged it in and it works really good.

My motherboard has only 4 USB connectors. This is not nearly enough. This card is exactly what I needed to connect all of my devices to my PC. I had it installed in under 5 minutes and Windows 11 found the drivers it needed right away. Speeds are as advertised too. Just remember, this is a USB 3.0 and not a 3.1 or 3.2 card. There is a huge difference. I also recommend installing the card and making sure it's working first before plugging in your devices to avoid any possible driver install issues. Many have complained about the green light. I barely notice it, probably because my PC lights up like a Christmas tree with a lot of RGB lighting. I like that it's there. It shows that the card is working. Time will tell if this card lasts but so far so good. The price was right too.

Got a pair of these for a fair price and now have TWO banks of 3.0 and NICE not to have to hunt for an open slot, plus finally tossed the old 2.0 strip. Don't care about speed testing, they recognized instantly and should be fine.

Works no issue on a Mac pro 2008 running on macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 no drivers needed useful as when I upgraded none of my usb ports would work

When I would have the computer go to sleep, when any USB device was plugged into this the computer would immediately wake up because of activity on the USB. That is abnormal. My original board didn't do this. This was the second lower-cost replacement I tried (the first one had a different issue). Finally I opted to return this and got a SIIG USB board which has worked correctly, just as the original board I was replacing did. This is a specific use case involving power saving of the computer to have connected USB devices shutdown after a period of inactivity. If you don't use sleep mode with your desktop computer, this may be fine for you.

Plugged into my bottom PCI-E slot of my motherboard and that was it. Works perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone who needs some USB expansion.
