Chains and sprockets need to match each other to function properly, and the following factors need to be considered when choosing a replacement sprocket:

Type B (1 Hub)
Type C (2 Hubs)
2.Sprocket bore size and keyway size
3.Number of sprocket teeth
4.If you select a sprocket according to the chain, you also need to check the chain pitch and roll diameter to confirm the chain model

Induction Hardening
The sprocket is made of ANSI 1045 carbon steel, and the teeth are hardened with HRC38-42 with high-frequency quenching heat treatment
Surface Treatment & Mark
The surface of the sprocket is blackened, and it is corrosion-resistant and rust-proof.Each sprocket will be marked with the number of teeth and the size of the inner hole for ease of use

This sprocket arrived well made and lubricated. It is ready to go to work as soon as I mount it on the axel, This is going to be part of a DYI mixer for large quantities of dry product. I am quite happy with this order.

I bought this to put on 3/4" EMT pipe to make a backdrop roller. The pipe is slightly under 1" OD so I had to wrap it with a wrap of silicone tape and then put this gear over it. Tightened down the 2 set screws and it was locked on there really well.It's a very hefty chunk of metal. It would totally power a gokart or motorcycle. Has a keyed area for a drive shaft or motor shaft. Teeth fit the #40 chain perfectly and the whole thing looks very durable.
