Looked good but the connections were missing. I believe it was due to poor packaging

I didn't want these for fountains, but for rain barrels. Gravity feed wasn't going to work for me with these barrels. With a little ingenuity, I found a way to use these pumps and they fill the need well. The tubing that comes with the pump is very soft and has kinks straight from the box. That doesn't work well for these low-pressure pumps. In a fountain, perhaps the tubing can be laid straight enough to remove the kinks, but for my application, I had to buy other tubing that wasn't quite as flexible.

We use these pump in our 2 garden fountains. They are working great, were easy to install and were a good price. We've only had them a few months so can't address longevity.

I made an air cooler using several inexpensive parts one was the fountain pump. The pump is submerged in ice water inside a styrofoam cooler and moves the now cold water (no kidding it was measured at -10 after a half hr) thru a vinyl hose attached to copper tubes on a high velocity fan. The tubing gets cold and stays cold.

Overall I like the fact that this pump is quiet and I especially like the included tubing. I was disappointed most with the power cord. My previous pumps came with a round cord that makes it easy to pass through a watertight fountain plug. This one is a two-wire flat variety with a channel running between the wires and both attributes make it difficult to get a good seal through a fountain plug. I finally had to use silicone RTV to seal it. Previous pumps with a round cord sealed nicely with no problems.

I received this last week and just tried it out. It is awesome! One thing I really like is unlike a fog machine, there is no waiting time. It works instantly!! So as soon as you need it, just flip on the remote. It blasts a ton of "snow". It is best to shoot it upward so that ot floats to the ground instead of a blast. Then it lightly falls like real snow. It simply dissolves a few minutes after hitting the ground. We are using it for our Frozen musical. It is a little noisy, but it won't matter for us since we are playing music over the sounds anyway. It should make a big hit during our show.

Needed a pump to lift about three feet and empty into a waterfall. it does perfect. When I first plugged it up, the unit was running, but would not pump. After looking over it for a few minutes, I took out the vane mechanism and wiped it with a towel, and put it back into the unit. It started pumping with no issues. Now, I am interested in seeing how long it will last. But, so far, very pleased.

Using this for a little clean up sluice. I purchased the 400 gph model and it seems to be adequate for my needs. Quiet pump that will move plenty of water for my use.
