Pretty heavy duty and long. I bought them to replace the bent tent stakes for our tent and gazebo. They work. The only downside is that they were maybe a little bit longer than I might have liked, they were a pain to hammer all the way in in rocky terrain. Then again, the longer they are the better they work. I think a 2" shorter one might have done the job just as well though with fewer blisters from the hammer.
