The tapered square base that fits into the tripod base is 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" (44mm x 44mm) dimensions on the bottom (that fits inside the opening in the mount head of the tripod). Has 1/4 inch Camera Mounting Screw that fits most cameras and camcorders and cell phone tripod adapters. QR plates attach to the tripod mount on your camera and allow you to quickly and easily attach and detach your camera or device from a compatible tripod head.

low quality but gets the job done! bought for a tripod i found for free on the side of the road. Plate fits perfectly 44mm. If i had a high quality tripod i would choose a different plate.

I recently bought a used MX2000P tri-pod as an upgrade and needed a larger camera mounting adapter than my prior adapter. After measuring the tri-pod mount it was 44mm square. I searched and looked at several adapters and settled on this one. Glad I did! It is an Exact fit and mounts on my Cannon camera perfectly. Seams solid and should be fun to use for better still shots!

The Amazon basic tripod I have came without a quick release plate. It was free and thrown in when I recently bough a camera. The Amazon tripod was in a nice bag. It felt tight and light but useless since it lacked the quick release plate.I've had a few other tripods that had similar problems. In those cases I had no luck finding plates and were discarded. In this caseI entered the info into Amazon and, "that's a bingo!". DaVoice had one listed. For less than 5 minutes of looking and the same cost as a vente latte at Starbucks, I had a like-new tripod.Delivery was fast and it was packed well. It's plastic but so it the head.If you lose your amazon basic tripod quick release plate, give this one a try. I can't say enough about how attentive DaVoive has been. Thanks for the making the product and making it easy to locate on Amazon.

I've experienced some challenges with the Plate Camera Mounting Adapter Parts. Unfortunately, I've already had two break on me, and they seem to be quite fragile. While the design serves its purpose, it could benefit from increased durability to prevent easy breakage.
