This kit seemed to be well made and assembled just fine. The piston, cylinder bore and gaskets all seems well made. The bike ran great after the assembly but I kept chasing an oil leak. Well tonight I found that leak and it's a HOLE in the CYLINDER HEADED from a casting flaw! Now I have a new top end that us useless and leaking oil! Unacceptable.

I ordered for my C70, the cylinder and head assembly are a pretty good deal, But I ordered another piston (OEM) style. as the photo shows this kit's piston on the left and the stock on the right- there just won't be enough compression to make the unit run.

Had to order exhaust collars for tale pipe fitment. where the OEM doesn't use them.Exhaust valve cover cap didn't fit (wouldn't tighten up) had to use one from OEM head.Spacer on the Carburetor intake pipe was needed where the OEM didn't use one.Metal ring on head gasket was damaged and cylinder cover gasket was torn into.

I bought this to freshen up a 1972 Ct70. The piston sat about 1/4" in the cylinder (below deck height) causing low compression. Measured less than 90 psi. The head works alright, the rest is a waste. Might as well buy a kit from somewhere else.
