Just want i needed! I've been putting off doing my lawn for so long and finally got off my butt and started. I couldn't find one at my local hardware store so I just bought it from Amazon. I used to just stomp on the ground to flatten the dirt but it just isn't the same. This stomper is heavy enough and a decent size which made my project so much easlier.

Good weight, it can break down for storage. Padded grip is a plus. But the exposed bolt ends are a good way to injure yourself.

For the price, this works well. It took me a minute to put together because I didn’t pay attention. Be sure to put it together according to directions so all the pieces are tight. I got this for my garden path and tested a small patch and it does exactly what I needed. It’s not so heavy to lift over and over- easy to use- but gets the job done. A tool that’s good to have without having to spend a ton of money.

This tamper is a really solid tool - it also has a nice handle for gripping. I got it to try and level out the rocks in my driveway and it works really well.Great if you’re looking for something to help level out your yard.

This heavy duty steel tamper is very good for leveling land and installing paving stones. Its heavy-duty design makes tough jobs easier, and the long handle provides excellent leverage, saving effort. A reliable tool for garden and pavement work! Handle come with soft cusion to hold making it easier on palms proving firm grip. I majorly using for leveling lawn and sand.

Putting this thing together was easy but never seemed to be sturdy enough to hold a straight pole. Not sure if mine was not made properly or this was normal. Tamping really soft dirt down in my yard. Handle was twisting and bending. Tightened up and same result. I do not recommend this for yard work. Not sure what else you would use it for but it failed me miserably. Box store had a full husky 1 peice for 4 dollars more. This handle was also hallow inside, prone to fail regardless it seems like.
