Got this green rubber under the tree mat. It’s great. Love that it’s protecting my hardwood floors from sap and moisture. I do not have to worry about hardwood damage.

This Ahpuhtan Christmas tree stand mat is made from thick, durable, rubber-like material that provides solid protection for your floors during the holiday season. It’s designed to prevent scratches from metal tree stands and shield hardwood floors from minor water spills. However, it's important to note that the mat does not have a raised rim to contain large spills, so while it works well for small drips, it won’t prevent damage from larger water leaks. The mat feels sturdy and should last for many years. When it arrived, it was folded tightly in a plastic bag, which caused noticeable creases. While this may not be an issue if you plan to cover it with a decorative Christmas tree skirt, you might want to lay it flat with some heavy objects on it to smooth out the creases beforehand. At 36 inches in diameter, the mat offers generous coverage under your tree, holding branches and catching debris while keeping your floor safe, clean, and scratch-free. This mat is also easy to clean—just scrub with soap and rinse. Overall, this mat delivers the protection it's designed for, with only minor drawbacks regarding creasing. I give it four stars for its functionality and durability.

This is a review for the 36 Inch Waterproof Christmas Tree Stand Mat for Under Tree, Heavy Duty Christrmas Tree Floor Protector, Christmas Tree Floor Pad for Protecting Floors from Spills and Scratches AbsorbentThis arrived really quick, but it was folded up and the creases are impossible to remove given the thickness of this mat and it's completely visible with the green side up and looks terrible. Fortunately, I actually want the black rubber side up and the green side down and when the black rubber side is up, the creases are less noticeable. We have a artificial tree so I didn't buy this matt for it's waterproof protection but rather it's heavy duty floor protection. We need to be able to slide our tree out of the corner when installing lights and ornaments, and once everything is on, the tree weighs a ton and sliding it back into the corner scratches our floor. With the green side down, I'm hoping it will allow the tree to slide while protecting our hard wood floors sort of like those pads for moving heavy sofas. I still think they should consider shipping this rolled up rather than folded to avoid the creases due to it's thickness.

If it really is waterproof (seems as if it is), the it is protecting the floor which is the point.

This is a very nice mat, seems like thick neoprene. It is fairly thick and a good size, being 36 inches diameter. I don't know that I would trust it for catching living tree - fresh-cut-tree-watering drips and spills though. It does not have a plastic underside, merely super thick neoprene-type construction. This type is excellent for protecting from floor nicks and scrapes certainly.I have hardwood floors. Last year our tree water got spilled on a tilting of the tree, and after cleanup I did not realize that the plastic had been breached or was not so waterproof, allowed the water to seep through. My hardwood floors underneath were ruined. I had to replace 4 boards and refinish those slightly. It was not difficult because we had just removed the same floor from a bathroom remodel (hardwood in a bathroom with the previous owners having toddlers resulted in disaster for much of that floor, thus the removal, but many good boards were saved). So I have great hardwood floors again, and am on a mission to protect them fully, having a cut tree that is watered. So I am going to use two to three protective mats (!!!). I am using a thin super waterproof mat, which I will probably underlayer also with tarp cut to the same size and dimensions for double plastic protection. Then I will set this one on top of that. With this system I have confidence I can still have a live cut tree that I water, or in the future a large living tree (if I can ever buy the one I really want in the size I want!).So knowing my waterproof assessment of this particular mat and your needs, I do highly recommend this mat.
