Fit perfect on my 2004 focus se 2.0l. identical to filter and gasket you would buy at parts store,but quite a bit cheaper.no leaks,and works perfectly.i won't ever buy from parts store again,unless Amazon doesn't have any available.this is a great product

This fits a 2008 focus with the 4F27E transmission. No leaks so far, seems fine. Fairly light in the hand, and I expect to change in 30,000 miles.Note that the official Ford manual (pictured) indicates the use of silicone sealer instead of the gasket included in this pack. It's my understanding you should choose just one or the other. This one replaced a previous kit with the same style rubber gasket after 30,000 miles. That one did not leak with just the rubber gasket and no silicone, so I don't expect this to leak. Always install on nicely cleaned and smooth mating faces (not gouged by hasty scraping). It will be much easier to remove next time compared to silicone sealer.I use Valvoline Maxlife multi car transmission, commonly sold at Walmart. It ran fine on that for the last 30K miles. The car is very old and has 165k now, so I'm using this as an economic alternative to the spec fluid, which is quite expensive. The Maxlife claims to be compatible with this vehicle, and all I can say confidently is that the transmission continues to run and hasn't degraded massively so far. Changing fluid and filter frequently while monitoring the old fluid are the core of my game plan.
