Nice weed barrier. Worked well in my raised garden beds. I like that it included the stakes and discs to keep the stakes from tearing the barrier.

This barrier fabric is thinner than I expected (it reminds me of seaweed sheets!) but it is so much easier to work with than a tarp. It is easy to unfold; it is packed in such a way that you don’t have to unfold the whole thing just to get a 4x4 square. Gloves with grippy dots are included, which actually come in handy when you’re out in the elements and working with the fabric amid the dirt, water and wind – remember the fabric is thinner than tarp material so it’s easier to grasp and work with, using the gloves. It also comes with 20 staples and gaskets to anchor the fabric. These are easy to work with – you can just push them into the ground with your hand, as long as you don’t have a lot of rocks or other decorative landscape materials buried in your soil. I do, so I’m working with one area at a time, pulling out the landscape rocks and putting this fabric down. While the fabric is excellent quality, it is not attractive, so if you are using it in a landscape, you will need to put mulch or decorative materials back on top of it. At least it’s black with an occasional blue stripe, so it isn’t too hard to hide. The fabric is easy to cut, either using scissors or a utility knife.
