About this item

  • 4K@60Hz/1080P@120Hz 1 in 2 out HDMI Splitter: Supports resolution up to 4K@60Hz (YUV 4:4:4) with 3D effect . Supports lossless audio formats such as Atmos, DTS: X, DTS-HD Master Audio, TrueHD. It distributes one HDMI signal to two Ultra HD displays simultaneously at 18Gbps bandwidth, fast and stable. It bypasses 4K HDR Atmos signal when the 4K TV supports.
  • 4K and 1080P Simultaneously by Smart EDID: HDMI 2.0 Splitter supports auto downscalilng and EDID. When a 1080P display is connected with a 4K display, the HDMI output automatically downscales 4K to 1080P for the 1080P display while the 4K display still having 4K signal. Which means it automatically select the most suitable resolution for displays.
  • Read before Order: A. When using 4K & 1080P TVs, please make sure that the 4K display is connected to output 1 and 1080p to output 2, in this way both will have HDR effect; B. Please do not use this splitter as an audio splitter to receiver or soundbar, unless they both support the same standard in audio.
  • Excellent Compatibility: 4K Splitter compatible with all standard HDMI devices with any operating system, such as Windows 10/8/8.1/7/Vista/XP and Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS. It works perfect with PS4 Pro, Xbox one X, Roku, Apple etc.

In my original review, which appears below, I gave this product a 5-star recommendation. My opinion has since changed. After a relatively short period of time, however, the product completely failed. No HDMI signal was transmitted to either port. I used Amazon's return policy to replace the non-working device. When the replacement HDMI splitter arrived, it worked perfectly right out or the box. Unfortunately, this 2nd product failed in less than a month. I cannot recommend this product.===================================================I previously purchased an HDMI splitter from a Best Buy brand called Rocketfish. At its best that product was never as good as this device. There were always latency delays plus that old product wreaked havoc with my ARC (audio return channel) audio receiver connection. This ACTIONS GLOBAL US HDMI splitter worked immediately. I connected my Xfinity cable box to the input and sent outputs to two TVs: one a 4K connection (an LG OLED in my living room) and the other to a 1080 connection (a Sharp TV in my kitchen). Based on the comments that I had read from other reviewers, I connected the 4K to input 1 and the 1080 to input 2. Works fabulously. I highly recommend this product.

This is exactly what I needed to watch Blu-rays on my XBox Series X connected to a computer monitor. I kept getting an HDCP error. I have a Blu-ray player in the living room but sometimes it's nice to watch a movie in bed.A little background on my setup: I have my Series X connected to an Elgato 4K60 Pro in my computer for streaming on Twitch. The HDMI output then goes to my 3rd pc monitor, a Sceptre Curved 27" 185hz. I would get the HDCP error even when trying to just directly connect the Series X to the HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 ports (has a Displayport but I dedicate that to my PC).I had read up that this splitter could be used with an HDMI downconverter to get past HDCP errors like this but turns out this box was the only one I needed. I don't even need to use an extra cord to connect them directly. Series X -> Splitter -> Elgato -> Monitor. Now I can pop in a movie before bed and don't need to take up the third port on my monitor which I like free for the occasional mobile device. As for the splitter itself, it has a solid metal build and has been working perfectly.

2/25/20 - Company reached out to me about the unit and my problems and promptly sent me a new one. Upon plugging it in, everything worked perfect. Both tv's received the 4k HDR signal from my Apple TV. No glitches and is working as expected right out the box. My last device must have been defective. Great customer service!I got this to split the signal from my Apple TV 4K to two different tv's. There were some "glitches" from the start, but I am wasn't sure if it was the splitter or the signal or the tv's, but setting the signal to 4K HDR took a few tries, and reseting the apple tv, but eventually, both tv's worked without issue. Now.. 40 days later, only one tv can receive the signal at a time. If I switch the outputs, or run direct from the apple tv, it is fine. So to me, it is not the cable or the apple tv, but it has to be the splitter. E.G. Apple tv -> into splitter input 1 or input 2 > out to either tv works fine, but if you plug in both tv's, one will drop out. I've consistently had more "trouble" with the tv thats on a 15 foot hdmi cable, so I feel like it could be a power issue, but it doesnt make sense why it worked daily for a month and then stopped. Maybe mine is defective. My old splitter worked fine for years, but didnt support 4k which is why I bought this one.

I was reading through the reviews here and people seem to have some issues with this device, so when I got mine before I installed it, I threw it on my workbench to test a few things out.People are writing about how the device doesn't push HDR to the displays connected that are capable of it; the important thing to remember here is that the device only pushes out the picture that your lowest-quality connected television can reproduce. So if you connect one that has stereo sound only, all will have only stereo sound. If you connect one that has HDR and one that hasn't, all will not have HDR.I suspect this is a limitation by design to streamline the internal hardware, it's rather impressive on it's face that they can get this little box to convert 4K down to 1080p and back and still be responsive enough to play games with, so I'm assuming they have the device determine the lowest quality needed to show, and then output that to both for simplicity. Honestly you're going to be hard pressed to find something like this that doesn't do that; in order to work as some seem to want it to, the device would have to decode, then re-encode two different HDMI streams, while juggling the rest of the overhead of operating HDMI.All in all, this is fantastic value for money, even if the way it operates isn't immediately clear.
