Redoing the bathroom. Please excuse the mess*Feels like fantastic quality. Has that old-school MagLight feel to it. The color is nice, and I like the finish. The wiring feels like quality. The colors or shades of the light were nice. I would definitely buy this brand again. 5 stars.

We ordered this light to replace the ceiling light in our kitchen that had its power transformer fail. The light was easy to install but you will need a few items that are not included with the light and to be aware of a few things.1) You will need 2 wire nuts in order to attach the lights wires to your home wiring.2) You will need two AAA batteries for the remote (note that the instructions refer to these as No.7 batteries, which is what they are called in China).3) The unit plate is grounded but the light itself is not; there is not a wire to do this. Just something to be aware of.4) To set up the remote, the instructions indicate that you need to long press the “on” button. You actually need to long press the set-up button.5) If you want to turn the light on and off using the remote, you need to leave the light switch always on.6) The lights can rotate 360 degrees, but not beyond that. So, if you reach the end of the ability to rotate in one direction, try rotating in the opposite direction.7) The lights can rotate 90 degrees to angle the light, but only in one direction. So, if you cannot rotate it the way you want, spin it.8) The light DOES include the bulbs.9) The light includes wall anchors, but you should verify if you need the light in an electrical box before using them without one. Most codes require an electrical box for all electrical connections.Overall, we are satisfied with the light. It provides an adequate amount of light for our kitchen. The light can change temperature over a fairly significant range, allowing you to change between daylight and soft yellow lighting. The light has a night mode and timers as well that are all accessed through the remote. An App is NOT needed.The rating of 4 was due to: the connectors not being included, the instructions indicating the wrong button for connecting to the remote, the batteries not being clearly double listed indicating AAA is No.7, and the vague instructions on the remote’s features. Once through these issues, the light is great.

I have a pantry that is narrow, long & deep. The pantry ceiling is slanted because it is under a staircase. The original pantry light is just a basic pancake style ceiling light mounted near the pantry entrance. Since the ceiling is slanted with the highest point near the pantry entrance, the deep end of the pantry is always dark. I wouldn't be able to solve my problem unless I run additional electrical extension wires to the deep end of the pantry.This light fixture's four swiveling light heads solves my problem perfectly, with style, and without any additional electrical wires. I could adjust these individual light heads to point exactly where illumination is needed the most. Voila!

Lately, it seems every kind of light comes with its own proprietary remote control. For my installation, the fixture is wired to an existing wall switch to turn it on and off, but the remote is required to adjust the color temperature of the light. That wouldn't be so bad if you could just set it once and forget it, but the fixture doesn't save the current setting when the wall switch is turned off, instead reverting to a default color which is too cool for my taste.The lights are bright, but regardless of the setting, color rendering is not very good. Compared to the halogen light it replaced, colors of items in the room look rather muddy. Installation was straightforward, like an ordinary light fixture, but the controller takes up so much room underneath the base it's a little difficult to make room for the connecting wires.This might be a good light for some applications, but its limitations are disappointing to me. The current Amazon listing price of $35 would be a good value if only it had a simple switch to select the color temperature instead of yet another annoying remote control.

My first impression of this light fixture was the heavier than expected weight and the quality of the materials. The light pods swivel pretty much everywhere you might need them to and I really like the fact that this fixture occupies such a small footprint on the ceiling but is very directional in its' ability to spread out the beams. Having a remote control makes this a joy to operate and be able to match all the qualities of a light in intensity and color to the room.I can easily imagine replacing all the standard globe style lamps in my house with these to increase that ambiance and livability. This assembly is as easy to install as any standard 3 wire fixture and the understated look really belies its' capability to control the room.My only issue with this is not being able to replace the bulbs which has the potential for a lot of downside. Beyond that I will update my review if bulb life appears to be an issue. Great light, great adjustability and a great price. And the color black just makes it disappear in the room.
