The micro clip style probes are just the thing for testing through hole printed circuit devices. A necessity when debugging new builds. My only regret is that the banana plugs are the style intended for multi meters, I'd like use these with old test gear that has 5 way binding post inputs. But I still need and use them with my multi meter.

There’s not much to comment about regarding a simple pair of test leads, but there are a few things worth noting:Resistance: Using a calibrated LCR meter, the resistance of a single test lead measured 0.07 ohms. Using an online calculator, this appears to equate between 23 and 24 gauge wire. Without measuring the wire diameter, the 23-24 gauge is just an estimate. Fusing current for 24 gauge is ~29A, but there’s other variables to consider (for example, insulation will affect that number). Would I feel comfortable running 10A thru the wire and clip? Maybe not, but that’s just me being cautious. 10A x 0.07ohms would result in a 0.7V drop across a single lead, x2 if both leads were used.Heat resistance: Using a soldering iron, the insulation was susceptible to damage. I don’t fault the vendor for this, it’s not advertised as such. Just an observation and doesn't affect the rating.Length: Length measured right at 3’In closing, the test leads are adequate for my needs.
