The description says Material: MetalThe product is made from plastic not metal.The reason I purchased the product was because it was meant to be made out of metal not plastic.

I ordered these to help improve the field of view when using Gasless Flux Core Welding. The listing was very vague in if these were threaded or slip on. They are threaded and I needed slip on. I had to return them. I wish the sellers would plainly state which variation they are offering. It would save everyone time and confusion. They looked as though they were well made and priced competitively but I could not use them. 3🌟’s because they were not sufficiently labeled as to what type they were.

I have several cheap flux core welders that have standard MIG nozzles, which are unnecessary since the welders have no gas line at all. These replace the metal nozzle so your view of the wire is improved but the threads and ports on the diffuser are still protected from flux and spatter. The contact tip sticks out about 1/4" on all of the MIG torches I tried these on, but contact tips are easily cleaned and/or replaced.
