Even though these have a finish on them that looks like old fashioned granite-ware, and the insides are not as smooth and slippery as I'm used to feeling on non-stick bakeware, these mini-bundt pans released just as well as any of the other non-stick bakeware that I have in my kitchen. My approach is to always coat my pan with some avocado oil, as I'm always using gluten free cake batters which can be sticky and wet. I just flipped these upside down after they cooled for 10 minutes and my cake popped out with no problem. The fluting on these is very subtle so do not expect much drama on the surface once released, but I think they're comparable to another set of mini-bundts that I own. I used a bundt recipe for a 6 cup bundt pan and these received that much batter just fine.
