For the price, this is an OK set of awls, depending on what your needs are. Seriously, they are just OK, barely so. I have awls very similar to two of these, and was looking for some replacements, as mine are starting to bend and dull from regular use (punching holes for stitching in leather). I can't say these are much better than the ones I have, in the condition they are in.Quality of make is basically what I'd call poor. The handles are rough looking. The points are semi-dull from the start. They came wrapped together in greasy, dirty tape with no other protection for the points.For the money, as I already said, they are OK. If you just need to mark places to drill or punch with other tools, they'll do the job. They do not look like they will last very long, however. If you are looking for quality, keep looking.
