Couldn’t wait for it to arrive so I could try it out. It arrived today and I had 2 cooked chicken breasts ready for action. Of course I washed and put the handles in prior to use. I will say the spikes could be painful if not careful. I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing so I had some ideas on what to expect. It’s easier if you push the pieces of chicken down all the way then put top on. Sometimes I had to rearrange but not an issue for me. I’m happy with the construction and functionality. Love how it has suction cups on the bottom . Just watch those spikes when cleaning. Will save time and easier then shredding by hand for me at least.

This works great to shred chicken. Buy a whole rotisserie chicken for ~$6 and then shred it and have meat for days. Easy to use, easy to clean. The hardest things are keeping it stable on the counter top - occasionally it wants to slide around - and getting all of the pieces to shred if you overload it. Definitely recommend.

Wish I would have had this year's ago. It's awesome! Easy to use and shreds chicken in minutes. I really like that this product has the container that you can lift up with your shredded chicken in it. Makes it easy to add to recipes and easy to clean. I put the pieces on the top rack of the dishwasher and it's good to go. Really a great help in the kitchen!! I purchased several for Christmas gifts!!

I saw this used on a post on IG. I used it the same day of arrived. It does an amazing job of shredding chicken. I haven’t tried any other meat so I can’t speak to use for that.

I have a different chicken shredder that works great, but it doesn’t have the removable tray like this one, which is why I thought I’d give this one a try. This one works well, too, but the shredding area is absurdly small given that this is labeled as an 11” shredder. The shredding area is actually only about 6.5”. This really only allows you to shred one chicken breast or a few small pieces of chicken at a time compared to others that have a larger shredding area. It works fine, but it’s small. The removable tray is nice, but I recommend forgoing the removable tray and getting a shredder with a larger shredding area.Also, this shredder really does come with the blue ribbon like you see in the picture in the item description. I can’t really see giving this as a gift like that, but it’s nice to have the blue ribbon I guess.
