Does more than just chicken. It also works for chuck roast and pork shoulder. It gets a very uniform shred and cleans up easily with dish soap and air dry.

I’ve bought other shredders in the past and they were cheap and flimsy and never worked that great. If you shred a lot of chicken or make pulled pork or things of that nature, these things can be a game changer. I can honestly say this seems to be a better quality material than others and is more heavy duty but not a solid piece. With that said it worked just fine. I hope this product will last and hold up well.

I have only used it a couple of times, and I already wonder how I managed before getting this. I used to do the two fork thing and it would take a while, longer if the chicken was right off the rotisserie.. With this thing, literally takes under 30 seconds to completely shred a large chicken breast.... The key it to chop it into various portions, no real effort -- just break it into multiple pieces and then twist away to shredded goodness.Best of all, cleanup is a snap.. Thee gaps between the prongs are large enough for the typical dish sponge to get into and nothing really seems to stick anyway..Just an amazing product.

I love this thing. It is solid, easy to use right out of the box, and looks nice. So far I have used it only on pork but have found a few things to try on chicken. It tears up a piece of meat and functions well repeatedly. I wash mine on the top rack of the dishwasher and it comes clean every time.

Works okay, but, it tends to push the pieces toward the outside. I have to pull out the thicker pieces and drop them back toward the middle to get a good shredded chicken. It’s easy to use and assemble but it’s almost impossible to clean without some sort of brush due to the way the little spikes are made.

I am unsure why I didn’t buy this sooner. This thing is amazing. I love it I love making meals that involved shredded chicken but the shredding of the chicken is a pain! However, it is done in a BREEZZEEE with this thing! I did all my chicken in less than 2 minutes It is sooo easy to do and leaves the chicken beautifully shredded! My only complaint is that cleaning of it can be a bit difficult without the proper brush or a lot of soap since the chicken leaves a bit of residue or oil on it. Other than that I love this and think everybody needs one in their kitchen!

This is bigger than I expected; it fits 2 big chicken breasts in it. The spiked nubbies in the tray help make quick work of shredding your meat. I even used it for my eggs to make egg salad to see if it would work better than my egg chopper with less mess - the jury is still out on that mess wise :)Overall this is a straightforward standard shredder. It is simple to use, clean and store, and is a nice size.

My dogs had to be on a chicken and rice diet and I was boiling chicken a couple of times per week. Silly me, I was cutting each piece of chicken into chunks which was messy and time consuming. Then I happened upon this miracle tool and my life is so much better! It shreds the chicken quickly and easily. It has a reasonably large capacity compared to other brands and it is dishwasher safe. It also stays put on the counter as I turn it, and the knobs rotate while it spins. I would choose this particular shredder again.
