The balls on this chain are larger than what you normally find, but they still fit into my old ceiling fan connectors. It's sturdy and easy to see. It works.

This roller-ball chain was larger than I expected - in fact I've never seen ball chain this large before. I got it to fix the pull chain on my attic light. It looks a little funny being joined to the small ball chain coming off the light fixture, but it will do the job.The chain includes about 10 "joining" pieces, and cuts easily with regular wire cutters. It appears to be chrome plated.
