When you need them, you need them. Most of my pop up sprinkler heads are getting buried too deep to clear the top of the grass when they extend anymore. For some reason, these 3/4" cut off extenders are super hard to find. The orange big box store advertises them on their website for $0.67 each, but they have been out of stock for at least 2 years. I can't find them anywhere. 1/2" ones are everywhere, but that doesn't help me since my sprinklers have 3/4" inlets. I had been watching this product on Amazon, unwilling to pay $16 for a 10 pack that should cost less than half of that. I finally caught them on sale from a seller for about $11 and bought the two packs I needed to do all of buried my sprinkler heads.The risers work as advertised and I had no problems with them. They cut pretty easily with a hack saw and screwed in between the sprinkler head and supply line just fine.I'm tempted to go with 4 stars with one star off for value based on the usual price, but if you can get them for about eleven bucks like I did, I'd say they are 5 stars.

What can I say ? It's a sprinkler extension tube, it works and you get them for a good price delivered to your home. And almost ALL my sprinklers needed to be raised and you can cut these for the right height. 👍👍

I had a sprinkler head which was installed very low in the ground, so when it popped up, the water stream would hit the surrounding grass roots instead of shooting up and over the grass. I had to dig around the sprinkler head to remove it and add the riser. After I replaced the sprinkler head on the new riser, the water sprayed my lawn like it was supposed to. It only took me about a half hour to correct the problem, and it was well worth the effort.

Great product that's so helpful for getting sprinklers set at the right height. But because it's plastic, it can crack if overtightened.

Needed to raise the supply line because the replacement sprinkler head was shorter than the original one and did not want to dig the trench to raise the original supply line. This just screws in to the fitting already in place and you screw the sprinkler head. As with any plumbing connection, you need to make sure that there are no leaks before you back-fill the hole - Teflon tape may be useful.My only complaint is the time it took for delivery, it arrived within the estimated delivery window but two weeks is a bit long.
