This is very heavy duty hard plastic. Just like the original from builder. (Our original got damaged by a stump grinder!) This is the one you want.

This item worked fine and fit perfectly. There is one problem, when I was looking for this and it was the size that I needed. My old one was measured at 9" round this one I bought because I could not find a 9".This measured 9" buy seemed a bit bigger than the old one. Bottom line is it fits like a glove only round. and it states 10" on the description. FYI
