When you attempt to unplug the device plugged into this receptacle, the receptacle pulls out of what it’s mounted to. Needs better install hardware

Ok so FYI, not all things are the same. I have a set similar to these in my boat that I use for my trolling motor. I have to say these types of connectors work really well and these do too. However, I did not realize there are different sizes. I mean I know there are different sizes of everything but in my ignorance I just figured they would be the same. These are big, like really big compared to the other ones I already have. I got the highest amp value thinking it would just be for larger gauge wires but I guess with great power comes great size. I really just wanted a connector that I could mount on the boat (to give it a cleaner look to it) and a cover to help protect from the elements. I think this would do that but seeing as there is a size difference I will have to try something else. I could be wrong, but 120 amp might be the larger one and I should have gone with the 50 amp ones which might have been smaller in size. It would see that size DOES matter....pity.

These are a good quality Anderson alternative bulkhead type fitting. The plastic is high quality and sturdy and they mount very easily. With the type of plastic they are it’s probably best to keep them covered or out of the sun because UV will probably make them brittle eventually, but at this price they’re a bargain.

Great price for what you get. However the description clearly states 6-16awg and it definitely does not fit a 6awg wire. And considering I'd use no less than an 8awg wire for a 50amp anderson plug, I'm not even sure why you'd want such a small pin. Maybe I was just sent the wrong size? Either way, the plug is already installed and not worth the effort to disassemble to return.
