I'm not a big coffee drinker, but when my wife broke my glass teapot accidentally I realized what a calming ritual making my cappuccino (powder mix) in the morning has become. I wanted something sturdier than glass, obviously. I also thought I'd like something a bit more ornamental, but cast iron seems too hard to take care of. I liked this one for its simple, traditional look blended with modern material. It hasn't disappointed. The weird-looking handle puts it at a perfect angle for pouring. It doesn't whistle when boiling but you can hear the water jumping around, which is what I wanted. Holds enough for 2 mugs of cappuccino (I only fill them halfway). I'll update if it starts to rust or something, but so far this is exactly what I wanted.

The black paint is already peeling on this after a week. It is lightweight and poorly made. There is now a black ring on my countertop from it.
