This battery was supposed to be larger and last longer then the original battery. I fully charged it and only lasted just about 30mins. The original 5 year old battery lasted about an hour so I swapped them out and return this new one. Only good thing about order was fast shipping. And easy return.

I ordered this because the four year old IRobot battery could not complete the task of vacuuming my small house without recharging. This battery dropped in and restored the vacuum capacity per charge. Unfortunately after one month of service this battery, which is supposedly a larger capacity battery, has degraded in capacity to the point that the vacuum can’t complete the house without recharging. In fact, I still had the old iRobot vacuum battery and I had to go back to it as this battery can’t vacuum the house without stopping to charge twice…after one month!My review is that the functional lifetime of the battery really is lousy. Go somewhere else.

What a waste of money. Has less life than the wore out original battery I replaced it with. Can't even do the half of what the old battery did. Supposedly twice the AH but more like half. Don't buy it.

After my j7+ started failing to complete a job and would die halfway through I knew I needed to replace the battery. The irobot branded batteries were almost $150 and on back ordered so I looked into getting an aftermarket one. I am really glad I did because I found this battery that has a higher capacity and was a fraction of the cost. The battery was very easy to install and slid right in. With the new battery my roomba charges less and completes it's job.Overall I am very happy with it and I have yet to have any problems.

Compared against the old battery and it extended the runtime without the hassle of frequent charging. Completed the largest room without having to recharge (42 minutes). The old battery took hour and a half, 48 minutes charging. Roomba keeps a history. The old battery was 5 years old.
