It worked as advertised but I noticed when using a Test Tone Right to left the Pitch and Volume varied slightly. Not sure if this makes a Big Difference but I ended up Replacing it with a 8 Channel Card that had slightly Better Performance

necesitaba hacer funcionar unas bocinas 5.1 esta es una de las soluciones, el equipo hace lo que promete.Excelente Linux lo reconoce sin problemas y configurar lo es muy sencillo.En linux no es necesario drivers lo reconoce en automático sin instalarla nada solo entras al setup

I have a Logitech 5.1 speaker system that works fine. This wouldn't output in 5.1. Re-installed the supplied drivers, no go. Tried 2 different drivers downloaded from the internet. It still wouldn't output 5.1, the best it would do was output to the subwoofer and front speakers in MONO, not even stereo. I'm a pretty capable guy with computers and wasted HOURS trying to get it to work.Returned.

I asked these guys for a working link to the software as the link they provide doesn't work.They said they'd get back to me in a couple days. its been over a month and now i can't return it. its a chunk of useless plastic without the software.very unhappy.

Works well in turning my laptop into a 5.1 audio output. As most apps (like Chrome for music sites) are only encoded 2.1 audio, I wish there was a way to upmix to 5.1 stereo and still sound good as most home theater receivers do this. It attempts to within the program it comes with, but sounds horrible. Playing anything that's already encoded in 5.1 audio works perfectly, like video games.
