This stuff is awesome and does stretch a little to fit over things. I used it for the battery cable to protect it from the heat between the engine and the headers on SBC.

Another automotive heat-shielding component I am a big fan of from KRD. I have not gotten to use all of mine yet for harness and wires but I have used it in a few spots including bracing a T-Clamp for an aftermarket coolant overflow reservoir. It works well for where I have it installed & one thing to note this stuff does have a big amount of flex to the silicone which makes its very nice to sheath bigger harness wraps but you might need a smaller size than you think because it's nice and stretchy! 4/5

Bought the sleeve material to put on the exhaust pipe my racing flat kart to keep from burning my arm it works great to keep the heat in and surface temp down. Worked great for my application!! Thumbs up👍 for sure.
