Was quoted $157,95 for 2 shock absorbers not including labour at $300 per hr with senior discount $25 so $275 per hr.So glad I went looking hope they last if not 1 year warrantee. Happy to be able to get the laundry done!

Seem little less quality than originals...have been in washer for 2 months and all seems well...price and delivery good and they fit as stated.

Replacing these took about 15-20 minutes on my 17 year old washer. I doubt they will last as long as the original parts ( which were more metal and less plastic) but for the price, I now have a quiet, stable washer again for probably at least a couple more years.

We have a 20 yr old Kenmore front loading washer that started knocking and was off balance during the spin cycle. We troubleshooted the problem and found We needed to replace the shock absorbers. It was easy to find the right replacement shocks and to install them. It works like new again and should last for many more years!

For my washer they were somewhat easy to remove and install. The washer works so much better with the new shocks. Both of my old ones had a broken end.

Our nineteen year old front load Kenmore washing machine was walking and making loud noises. The inside tub was also very loose and easily swayed back and forth. A quick google search pointed to the shock absorbers. Found our manual and got our washer model number.. Did a YouTube search and found a video that showed shock absorber replacement for out model. After disassembling washer found both shocks broken at bottom connection.Finding the part number for our Kenmore (rebranded frigidaire) took a bit of research but once I found it Gooble displayed several shock absorber kits for the part number. Several were listed for Amazon. Picked this kit because of one day delivery, low price and It showed the dimensions. kit also had one year warranty so I figured if it didn't fail within a year it should be good for many years maybe even nineteen. LOL.You have to move the controller box on the one side held down with two screws. There is a tab on the pointy end of the plastic pins that hold the shocks on. Press tab down while pulling the other end with a pair of pliers and they should slide out with a bit of twisting and pulling. The new shocks fit perfect. The narrow piston side down. Had to extend the shock a bit to reach the bottom mount bracket but otherwise fit OK. Reassembled and checked for leaks. Did a test wash with no issues. Problem solved and maybe good for another nineteen years.This is only the second problem with this washer. The first was a dental sick in the pump impeller that prevented the washer from draining. Also found a bunch of coins in the plastic pump inlet rubber hose.. (another youtube video)That is my adventure story for todayBye ....
