I have some limbs that i want to trim that are not very reachable from the ladders I have available. So I got this so I can reach the limbs by just throwing a line over and sawing away. It cuts a wide kerf, so not as efficient as my pole saw. But with extra rope, I can reach higher that the 20' limit for the pole saw. Good tool to have.
