This island light is very versatile. It can be a kitchen island light, dining room light, coffee bar light..... really any room that needs some class.The size is perfect and ease of installation was good considering that it is a 2 person job. The quality is there for the price. It spices up and modernizes the room, exceeding expectations.I recommend this light to upgrade your home.

Beautiful light that is easy to install and fits in the budget. This light combines the style of farmhouse with elegance, while still being simple and not overly dainty looking. It has just the right amount of glitzy charm and adding in different styles of bulbs can change it easily. I love that you can change the bulbs easily from a dainty bulb to a Edison style and changes your look above. You do need to purchase bulbs separately, which is mentioned in the product page.

This has a very crisp clean look to it and while I love matte black the one thing that goes well with it is gold or brass. The gold finishing touches make it look even more sophisticated especially when the cabinet handles have gold finish on them with matter black handles as if they all came together. The matte black faucets, and the gold stainless steel sink just compliment things even more. This is one of our other properties that the kitchen (still not all done but just about!) needed a clean remodel done to it so we chose each item, cabinet, paint, and fixtures carefully so that someone could enjoy a bit of calm luxury in a nice space that just makes you feel good. We put in warm LED bulbs into the sockets but not clear ones white ones but it still looks good. 4 barstools are at the island as well it's a nice place to sit and chat while fixing dinner. Life can be good sometimes!

Pros: very good quality! I love the look of the chandelier. It looks like it should be more expensive than it actually is. I love that it has matte black and a little bit of gold which pops well in my kitchen and I love the little gem looking thing at the top because we have other items downstairs with the same little accents. It's like this was made for our house/design!Cons: the directions for installation are somewhat useless. It helped with the assembly which wasn't really that difficult but wasn't helpful for the wiring or how the cord is supposed to fit or anything. Fortunately we have installed ceiling fans before so we had an idea of what we were doing and it's easy to YouTube but it wasn't in the directions. Also keep in mind you'll need 2 people to install (though not a con, just advice). I also wish the shades were frosted. It's really bright and i ended up putting smart bulbs in because of how our wiring is set up (i wanted to be able to turn off the chandelier and have just recessed lighting sometimes) and in the pictures the bulbs are set to 45% brightness compared to a normal bulb. Lastly a standard light bulb is longer than the shade. We contemplated buying shorter bulbs for the asthetic but ended up doing the smart bulbs for the utility.Overall thoughts: everything listed as a con is minor in my opinion and didn't deserve to lose any stars. The quality and how gorgeous this chandelier is deserves a full 5 stars!! Definitely buy this product!

This is a beautiful light fixture with a little sparkle in the cut glass above the gold and glass fixtures. The Black metal gives it a solid form. Mine came with two of the glass votives with a chip in them along the larger edge. They are only noticeable in close range. It is not affecting the overall look and function of the light.
