It's always handy to have some quality screen mesh laying around for those times when a personal project needs some, so I got these to try and they're a good set. Usually I buy it by the roll, but when you just need a few pieces of the right size, this is perfect. However, if you need to it them, they're pretty easy to cut as well.

These are a good quality mesh. They are easy to cut with a metal cutter. I use mesh on some wood projects, recently I attached a couple of these to a wood frame for bird feeder. Not fine enough to keep all the seeds from falling through but has done pretty well.

We blocked out squirrels from the loft using these metal squares. Just the right size, easy to handle and strong enough to prevent squirrels chewing through.

I have an immediate use for this - lining the bottom of my bonsai containers - and a lot of long-term potential uses - some where I'm using it for its strictly utilitarian uses, some of where I'll be using it for its aesthetic appeal. The sheets are absolutely flat and stiff. Even though they're just packaged with plastic wrap, they arrived in good shape. Nice clean edges. It's s little thicker and stiffer than window screen. Cuts easily with quality metal shears.I kinda wish they had been packaged with some cardboard to protect them, but I can't complain too much since they still arrived in perfect shape. Good value for the price.

We live in the country, and in late summer certain insects move in by the millions. They don't bite or make a big mess, but they do crawl in through every tiny crack. I have a vent stack in my house that has a small fan to try to pull fresh air into the house. For a couple months, I was hearing something hit the fan blades with a "ping!" a few times a day. Took me a while to figure out it was those damn bugs falling down the vent stack. This mesh got the top of the stack sealed up so the air can get through, but the bugs cannot. I win!

I was very impressed with the thickness of the sheets, i can press with good pressure on them with my fingers and they wontDeform like thin sheets, add to that that they are made from stainless steel that makes them water proof. For the couple things that I will be using them right noe is to fix a big plastic trashcan that has big cracks and i am certain they will hold it together, putting the mesh as filters on some holes i have on my attic(by the way if you have holes in your attic leading to the outside you should close them up otherwise you could get bees, insects or other things to go in). Am am sure i will find more ways to use those sheets, they are just good to have around.

I needed this screen to create a Snelgrov board for my beehive and used this mesh for the job. It would be nice if it was available in larger sizes or a roll, but the square sections are nicely packaged in a plastic pouch and are really easy to cut with a pair of scissors. Use an older pair of scissors as they will eventually get dull with this type of cutting. 20 gauge is a pretty tight mesh but will be fine to separate the bees. Overall some nice easy to use stainless steel mesh in a nice package.

This 20 Gauge Stainless Steel Mesh, with Mesh Size 0.035" x 0.035" came as a pack of five sheets. Mine arrived a little messed up on one edge but it's still usable for me. I am using this to cover air holes in my worm beds. I believe that the mesh is plenty small to keep stuff out and the worms in. It is stiff and a little hard to cut with gloves on but the gloves are needed to protect my hands. This is much better than the metal house screen that I have used before and it should not rust as it's stainless steel and being used above ground.

I''ll be using this product for two future projects: Lining my shed's vents to keep out bugs, and replacing the glazing when converting an old divided light window sash to a wall hanging.Product Quality: First off, it is stainless steel, but a magnet does attract it somewhat. It arrived flat-packed with no kinks. Edges were ragged, likely having been cut to size rather than formed to size. The material is stiff; Mesh is as fine, or slightly finer, than typical window screen. Overall, good quality.Use: I cut one piece to the size I needed to line a 4" x 12" (3" x 11" cut size) shed vent and cutting with sheet metal shears was easy enough. There's not much else to say here except that I'll have to order two more packs for that 12 pane divided light sash...Final Thoughts: This is one of those products which has multiple uses, some immediate and some long term. The material leftover after a project will most likely sit in your garage/shed/workbench for months before you realize you need a piece. Order some and have it on hand because, eventually, you will.
