Setting up my wet saw can take some time. Setting up a hand-held angle grinder is a snap. That difference in and of itself makes having such a blade on hand a wonderful resource that can save a lot of time. The key is being able to make accurate cuts!Holding the grinder properly, securely, and safely is the first step with the second step having the same applied to the item being cut. I prefer to make my cuts gradually at first from the front (visible) side to establish a straight line and any imperfections behind it can be filled with grout.I find that the blade cuts well through ceramic tile and produces a nice smooth cut. I cannot say how long it will last since i will set up my wet saw if I need to cut a larger amount of tiles. A wet saw does not produce as much dust. If I am outside cutting granite (Belgian block), I like to use this and then chip the edge with a hammer to make it look rough hewn.Putting this in the box with my grinder and other disks make me feel like i am prepared for many different types of jobs since I truly am.

Decent set of blades, clean cuts on marble chevron tile about 1/3", ran a whole blade through 30sqft of tile.Haven't tried it on thinner/brittle tile (e.g. glass) so I don't know if it'll chip or crack.

We had a couple of broken tiles and these blades helped grind out the old tile and grout. These were much thinner than other options that we had which was very helpful getting into small spaces and grout lines without accidently cutting the good tiles.

I mounted one of these blades on a variable speed angle grinder with a 7/8β arbor, and it fit fine and ran true, no wobble, vibration, or other issues. While this is not a blade I would use often, it does have its uses around the home. I needed a couple of orchid pots, the ones with the notches in the side around the base. All I had were the regular terra cotta pots, so I tried this blade out on them. Cutting V shaped notches near the base went quickly, even at the low speeds I was using. The notches are different sizes, but that was me, the blade itself did a fine job. Most of the pictures show this blade being used without a guard on the grinder! Use the blade guard and eye protection, or a full-face shield, at all times.

I was weary to order these because a lot of things don't do what they say they do, I was amazed at how easily it cut through my tiles. I did a 12 x 20 patio room with lots of cuts and only used one of these and it looks like it can last a long time. This was my first tile job and as you can see I had my helper watching every move I made. I think he deserves a big bonus bone LOL.
