It works as intended, just pay attention to the connector ends, as it will only connect monitors, not laptop.

Unfortunately, when I plugged it into my Mac, it didn't work at all. I believe this needs an external power source even when connected to Macs - if this is the case a power cord should be included. It worked fine on my PC however, so I only knocked it for not working well with Mac computers.NOTE: As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I receive this product without paying for it directly; however, I have to claim the full value of this product on my taxes as this counts as a taxable gift and I must pay taxes for the taxable value of this item."

It works. The wires are long. If it doesn't work for you, you'll need to connect the 'usb micro b' to the displaport adapter to give it power. Then it will work like a charm.

Very easy to use with instant results. First time I have tried a splitter like this and I was doubtful it would work. I just plugged in one Display Port (DP) on the input side and ran the two DP cables on the output side to the monitors. I heard the sound of device detected in WIN 11 and my display settings show the extra monitor. Pretty impressed that adding an extra monitor is this easy. I am able to duplicate or extend my desktop without any issues.Hands down an easy an effective way to add a monitor with no fuss.

This is a pretty cool device for driving two monitors from a single Displayport video source. It does require MicroUSB power, but you can run it off your computer with the displayport connector. It's currently $50 before a 10% checkbox coupon, which for this use case seems reasonable to me. And with spare DP ports on a couple of my Dell widescreen monitors, it's a cool way to work with a lot of documents at once at home.Note that it is not a switchbox for two computers - it takes one computer video source and drives two displays.
