So at first I thought it was just a push button switch (you push in it latches and it work). But it can also operate as a momentary push switch button and then it latches. So don’t be fooled/ worried when the clicking noise and the switch not resetting. Basically as long as you don’t push it down all the way it can function as a push momentary switch, push it down furthest and it latches. Great switch though can handle high amps and voltage without heating up would recommend
