Ever had one of those days when your workshop looks like a tornado wandered through, had a tantrum, and then wandered back out? Yeah, me too. Enter the 6 Inch Sanding Disc Storage Box. Think of this as the workshop equivalent of that magical sock drawer organizer your mom swore by. Except instead of socks, you're neatly stashing sanding discs and grinding accessories. If your woodworking or metalworking projects are anything like mine - roughly 10% cutting, 10% measuring, and 80% sanding - then you know the absolute soul-crushing agony of not being able to find that one crucial grit (seriously, where the @#$@# is my 320?). This organizer finally ended my days of frustrated searches and redundant purchases. With 10 bins, each holding up to 60 discs, you get tidy storage for up to 600 sanding discs. The offset snap-on bins let you quickly grab exactly what you need without spilling a cascade of discs onto the floor (been there, done that). Durable and compact, this thing fits snugly even in a workshop like mine - where every square millimeter is already claimed. The only hitch? If you've got discs bigger than 6 inches, this won't help. And while the plastic is plenty sturdy for typical use, don't get carried away and toss it around the shop - it’s good, just not indestructible.I finally found a home for mine by hanging it on a hardworking 3/4" pipe that doubles as lighting rig, clamp store, fan holder, and makeshift assistant for propping up projects. Now, sanding discs are within reach, neatly organized, and frustration-free. This is one case where the purchase is definitely worth more than the experience.Pros:✅ Holds up to 600 discs total✅ Efficient grit classification✅ Sturdy, compact design✅ Easy snap-on and off bins✅ Tames workspace chaos instantlyCons:❌ Limited to 6-inch discs❌ Plastic build could feel heftier🏅 Verdict:Way to go, organizer - you’ve earned your 5 stars, a cherry on top, and my eternal gratitude. Sanity restored!

The casting of these individual plastic bins is clean and smooth but they are thin and flexible. I'd like to see a bit more plastic used per individual bin. When connected together as intended, the entire rack is hard to move as a unit without some sort of underneath support. I connected the bins to a piece of plywood to make it easier to move them around as a unit. If wall mounted, or some other type of permanent mount, this is not a factor. I just like being able to move the entire assortment of discs from table to workbench, or wherever I want to use the discs. It's nice that the set includes pre-printed labels for various grits. Functionally, they do a very nice job of organizing discs.

Ten individual bins are shipped that can be connected together. An improvement would be if the interconnecting tab would snap into the adjacent bin and not disconnect. As it is, you need to be careful if moving the assembly, so they don't come apart. I don't think that as a deal breaker because they stay together on the shelf and can be slid and moved around without issue. But if you're picking them up to take to a project location, be careful. Each bin will hold a good number of discs, easily 20 discs will fit, though the coarser grits will take up more room. I've been waiting for years to implement a sanding disc storage solution, and this is a very good solution.

The material and design of these remind me of something straight out of my grandpa’s garage. They’re thin plastic, kind of flimsy, and very basic—probably considered decent quality back in the '80s or '90s. Nowadays, this is the kind of thing I’d expect to find for a couple of bucks at Harbor Freight. They work fine for organizing sandpaper and will do the job in a weekend woodworker’s shop. But for anything beyond that—especially in a shop that sees frequent use—I can easily see these breaking from accidental bumps or regular wear and tear. One major issue is how they attach to each other. They link loosely at the back of each holder, and the more you connect, the flimsier the whole unit becomes. Getting them mounted as a set can be frustrating, but once they’re secured, they should stay in place. They’re only 2.25mm thick, which adds to the overall flimsy feel. Given the price and build quality, I don’t think they’re worth it.Check out the photos for measurements.

I needed this product! My previous method of organizing my sander disks was to keep them in their original packaging and stack them all on a shelf. This worked, but was a pain. Some disks came in boxes, some came in blister packs, some were just attached to a card. This made having neat stacks impossible. Stacking order was based on tower stability, not frequency of use. Which meant it seemed like I always need the one that is on the bottom, so every time I needed a particular grit, I ended up having to take them all out and then restack. These bins solved my problem. They hold the disks vertically allowing the bins to sit horizontally. no more stacking! They have a nice flat spot for grit labels, and they come with a set of preprinted labels covering a wide range of grits. They also give you some blank labels if you need more than one bin for a particular grit, or you have a grit not provided. The labels are easy to read and angled so you can see them from above or below; this is useful if you are mounting the bins on a wall. The bins have keyhole slots for mounting and come with mounting hardware. They also have sliding latches on the side so you can hook them into each other. They are really well thought out. May only concern is the plastic is pretty thin and feel fragile. Be careful not to mount them where you might bang into them, I suspect they would crack from any signifigant impact.
