I purchased this sound-absorbing artwork for my office. It's about four feet wide by two feet tall in total; the individual panels are about one foot square.My expectations for this artwork were to help reduce some of the echo picked up by my microphone and to dampen some of the ambient noise that comes from other rooms.This artwork exceeds my expectations with regards to functionality and value for my money; that said, my expectations were not very high. This will not sound-proof a room -- it just helps dampen the sound a little bit.These panels were very easy to install. I used strips that have adhesive on one side and plastic hooks on the other and I purchased them here on Amazon. They made installation fast and easy.I did not notice a strong smell, nor did I have any problems with the adhesive adhering to the back of the panels.The image quality was sufficient (i.e., it looks nice from several feet away).

Very thin tiles, with very-low-resolution picture printed on them (much less clear than I expected.) Looks decent but a little washed out from across the room; up close, fuzzy as heck.Getting them to adhere to a textured wall is also "interesting" but not the manufacturer's fault.

I had cleaned my wall to remove any dirt or dust from the surface and try to get a good hold. I woke up in the morning and some of the panels had fallen off. I'm not sure why it's on a flat surface that's smooth and the fallen rate panels were still really stick just would not stick on my wall. I do recommend them because for the day I had them inside not hear my neighbors as much.

These are great for a large mural wall, especially when trying to help dampen noise in your house. Super easy to set up, the instructions has the pieces numbered. The whole back is sticky on each piece.
