THEY ARE A LITTLE BIT SMALLER IN DIAMETER THAN I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE BUT THEY WORK GREAT AND GOT THE JOB DONE

I highly recommend these Diamond Burrs. Most of the others out there are very small which is fine for some jobs. However, for slightly larger jobs I needed larger diamond burrs. I have read other reviews were people talk about their diamond burrs quit working after only a limited amount of usage. The thing you have to remember about these is any grinding is going to produce friction which in turn produces heat. If you use these to the point where you see any kind of glowing, you have heated them to the point that the material used to wield the diamonds to the burr lets loose and the diamond coating comes off.The key to make these last for a very long time is to constantly provide a little flow of water to the area where the burr is contacting the material you are grinding. The water will keep the burr cool and the diamonds won't come off. I use a clamp to attach the item that I'm trying to grind to a stable surface. Then I use a pint sized squirt bottle in my left hand while holding the grinding tool such as a Dremel tool in my right hand. Then I apply a small constant stream of water to the area I'm grinding.Using this method I have been able to use the diamond burrs to make holes in the bottom of ceramic pots, to create drainage holes for my bonsai work. I can use the same burr all day to make dozens of holes through the ceramic without dulling the burr. I would also use these to grind holes in glass or stone if I wanted to do that. Keeping a water flow at the point of contact is the key to making these burrs last and last and last.

I do wood working and these are amazing to be non expensive. I'm so pleased and happy with my order! Do yourself a favor if you do work with a Dremel. Get em!

I haven't tried many other grinding bits, but these held up well engraving cement bricks in my CNC router. At least the semi-rounded cone bits did (engraving a couple bricks worth each). The rest of bits lasted for maybe a brick or two, but that could just be how I used them. They all cut well though.

Like another reviewer mentioned, seems like the diamond is more like a dust coating compared to being embedded within the bits.

I use these diamond bits to engrave stone.I wish that the description when buying would tell you that in a 20 piece set your getting 2 of each bit shape and all the same grit size. I would have preferred to have say 10 bits with 60 grit and 10 bits with 80 grit.Other wise they are a good quality.

Uniform quality diamond coating - pretty true to the 60 grit designation. I used these pretty hard on a pebble stone grout removal project and they held up quite well with plenty of life left in them. Based on the wear and tear I experienced with other diamond bur dremel brand bits, I expected to burn through half of these but only used two to finish the job and both still have life left on them. Good buys, especially at this price - I was a bit surprised at the size of the tips, slightly larger than expected, but the pics are true to the size, I just didn't pay attention to it. The shanks are slightly larger than 1/8", but fit perfectly in 1/8" collars. With that size in mind, you can see that the wider bits are close to 1/4", and the wider parts of the tapered bits are similar in size.
