I bought this part July 26, 2024 because I needed it fast. Installed it and it blew off on July 31, 2024 - just over 1 month. Reinstalled it on the side of the road and it blew off again 12 times in 1 hour before I could get to a dealership and buy the OEM Ford part then drove 2000 miles in 1 week hauling a trailer and never had a failure. Buy the OEM Ford part - 6C3Z-6C640-A.

On 6.0 powerstroke, boots pop off while towing uphill, worst place to loss power. Tighten the hell out of the clamp still won't stay on at 25-30 psi of boost. Installed on OEM intercooler pipe.

Boot pops off everytime. I've Being doin my own mechanic work for decades, and thought I'd give these a try. Big mistake! Only suppose to torque clamps @ 12NM /108ft.lbs. I've tightened, and retightend these clamps to ove 130 ft.lbs.! And it STILL won't keep the boot on! Surprised the clamps didn't snap at this torque, which lets me know it's the boots fault.Even tried the Hairspray trick, and that won't work.Dont waste your money. Spend the extra cash and go with OEM boots/clamps, or at the very least, Gates.These will NOT hold, with 25# of boost or more. At least not on OEM Pipe.

The boots seem to be good quality. I wouldn't use the clamps, though. The factory clamps are a beefier..
