I’ve used this in several painting projects recently, one wood, one metal. It’s sandpaper, nicely and efficiently packaged, but the special thing about it to me is that it doesn’t wear out as quickly as most sandpaper I’ve ever used. I like to fold a big piece of sandpaper into fourths so it fits my hands, and it often wears out quickly along the fold lines. This doesn’t. I’ve got a piece on my kitchen counter right now that’s been used on two different projects so far and is still going strong. This package will last us a long time and contains all the grits we need for our household purposes, but I’d definitely buy this again over anything at the home improvement stores. It lasts.

I use this sandpaper for general purpose DIY projects and at home repairs. I've sanded wood and plastic and metal with this sandpaper with good results. I mostly use it for hand sanding but I've attached some sheets to my little handheld electric vibrating sander with good results. I would say this sand paper isn't quite as good as the purple 3M stuff you can find at the hardware store but it is much more affordable. Especially considering how much sandpaper you get in this pack. I think this will be enough to last me for several years.This kit is also really good for progressive sanding where you use the lower grit paper to remove material, then you work your way up through the finer grits to smooth it out and get a really nice finish. I also like that you can use it for wet sanding which is how I prefer to do the finer grit sanding.Overall, this is a good sandpaper kit. It comes with a wide variety of grits and is perfect for polishing things. It would be great for sanding down automotive paint since you need the low grit sandpaper to remove the old paint but once you're down to the primer or raw metal, you can switch to the fine grits to smooth everything out. 10/10 sandpaper assortment.

This sandpaper offers sanding efficiency with hard silicon carbide grit and durability with hefty backing paper. I've been using it to sand wood by hand with good effect. I haven't sanded harder material yet, such as metals, but the silicon carbide should out perform Aluminum oxide sandpaper due to grit hardness. However, due to grit brittleness, the silicon carbide paper probably won't last as long. If I have occasion to sand harder material with this sandpaper in the future I'll update this review if the product fails to live up to, or exceeds, reasonable expectations.For sanding wood this sandpaper has proven to be effective and offers good value.
