Exact diameter and hole boring save DIY time. Acrylic stock can be expensive and difficult to form. Good to have on hand as this can be hard to find. Perfect fit with no slop.

the holes were a little off for both the plunge and the fit plate was not hard to cut new holes though.

IT TAKES A WHILE TO FIND THE SCREW HOLES THAT MATCH THE SCREW LOCATIONS THAT YOU NEED

I have a 60 year old (and works like it was new) Stanley 13-B domed router that does fit, but I have that permanently in a special jig, and didn't get this router plate for that router.I ordered this for a 40 year old Black & Decker 7615 plunge router. Everything I've ever attached to this Stanley in 40 years was seamless. Except this. No hole configuration fits.I need to drill custom holes to make it work. It already looks like swiss cheese !I don't recommend it

I use this router base plate with the bosch 1617 router. The holes line up well. I also have good success using router guide bushings with this base plate. This base plate is of good thickness and it is sturdy. Also the holes are drilled cleanly

I got this to make a new base for an OLD router that is not good for everyday use it is full sized. So I made a flattening sled out of some angle iron and use the router with this base. The hole patterns line up but would have been nice to maybe include a copy of the hole pattern alignment in with the base before it was packed and shipped. I dont need instructions BUT I DO sort of. I mean it is NOT HARD to figure out how to put a screw in a hole! but if I know what hole first it is way faster. I managed to figure it out LOL I even added some knob handles on some of the left over holes and used it with my Makita 18v cordless trim router. Did not find a hole pattern to line up but it is easy to drill your own holes in the base.

This 6-1/2" clear acrylic router base plate comes with a brass centering pin, brass nut, and screws, but I wish it included instructions to which marked holes are compatible with what routers. Since it includes no instructions, I would suggest printing out the product picture that has a least a partial list for future reference. The plate did fit both my Porter-Cable 690 routers and m Makita RF1101 router just fine though. The hole placement can be figured out by centering it on the router and rotating to figure out the holes though if necessary. Having a clear router base plate is so much easier to see things than the pre-installed black bases that obscure what is going on, so I am pleased with this plate.
