This was recommended by a carpet shampoo company I had in my home and they left me a sample. I tried it and was amazed at how great a job it did with my personal carpet shampooer. There is no soap residue left behind. My carpets are clean and fresh again.

Could not believe it would be as effective as a carpet detergent, but it is! Not so "crunchy" to walk on after cleaning, although all carpet fibers pack a bit because of the water. My water was just as dirty dumping it into the sink as previous cleaners and does not leave a dirt attracting residue.

Excellent cleaner, with this Procyon and my little home carpet cleaner, my carpet looks as if it was professionally done. I have found that running a rinse through the carpet makes it look even better. Good price too
