This ramen bowl is very versitile. I've used it in the microwave to heat up rice, soup, and to steam veggies. I've also put it directly on my gas stove burner at a low flame as I put soup together - perfect if you only need a bowl for yourself. The lid keeps the heat in and can double as a shallow bowl which is good for cooling food down if the soup/food is really hot. The bowl and lid have a smooth, shiny glaze cover (I bought the fish designed one) that is easy to clean and looks nice. Sometimes I put the bowl on display instead of putting it away with the dishes. I've had it about a year now and can say that it is sturdy and holds up to daily use. I recommend this bowl.

Love this ramen bowl with lid. Keeps ramen warm. These are heavier clay and sturdy.

Man I want to love this bowl so much! It's beautiful, and the perfect size. I eat a lot of ramen and soups, so I've been looking for something like this for quite a while now.A nice bowl with a lid to keep my hot soups hot, and to let my ramen steap in. I found this bole and immediately loved the overall look and design of it, it instantly reminded me of the movie ponyo! It got here fast and wasn't that expensive, but I have noticed that it doesn't hold in heat as well as I expected it to, my soups and ramen get cold way to fast! It's a nice bole to look at, just doesn't hold in heat.

This thing is perfect. I mean it. I love the material. The size is perfect for making instant ramen or having a proper meal. The lid is ideal for instant ramen noodles or keeping the contents warm/fragrant. I will have to buy more and make a household set

This is a great size bowl for soup or cereal and it has a lid. It is well made too. Totally recommend this product if you are looking for a good soup or cereal bowl that comes with a lid.

I love the lid on a bowl, very useful however the lid chipped on my 2nd use, very disappointing! I did purchase 2 of different designs and the other seemed to have been a returned item from the way it was packaged and there were some scratchy, slightly chipped on the edges of the lid, but I kept it. I bought it for everyday use but I see that it’s very “chippy.” Very beautiful but be very careful with the bowls, now I have 2 chipped bowls. Very sad!
