What a lovely soup bowl. Handles on either side make it very convenient. I use them while hosting a gumbo night. Everyone loved them.

I love soups, stews and chilis and make them all the time. I'm also a big eater so I like a big bowl. My old set of stoneware bowls from the big box store were all chipped and cracked so I decided to treat myself.The blue glaze is beautiful, and the handles make it easy to handle these even when hot. They hold the perfect amount and stack for safe keeping in the cupboard. They are rated for oven use but I haven't tried that. I hope they last a long time.

I think these are very attractive, to use for soup or chili.. I have used them successfully under the stove broiler (set on low, about 4 inches below the element, to broil the cheese-topped bread.) The handles warm up but then cool down rather quickly. The only thing I did not like is that they are a darker blue than I expected. They do nest, but I chose not to do this as it doesn’t seem very stable. You could put some rubbery shelf liner between them if you have a place to stack them.

Superschön und da mikro - und spülmaschinengeeignet, praktisch im Gebrauch. Ausserdem sind sie gut groß, da passt ordentlich was rein. Man sieht und spürt die Qualität, das Grün ist auch superschön. Geliefert wurden sie sehr gut verpackt!

We love these bowls! Perfect for soups and stews. We initially bought them for homemade pot pies, and they work perfectly for that because we can put these bowls in the oven. We love the handles on the side for a good grip with potholders. They are larger than a standard bowl and we love the slightly larger size. They are sturdy and heavier but perfect for the kitchen for many uses. They are pretty too!
